Craftsman V20 Battery Pack

The adapter above is a do-it-yourself adapter, so you will need to provide the circuitry to make it work. There doesn't seem to be any source on whether Craftsman V20 batteries have built-in over discharge protection. But considering that Milwaukee M18 power tools have been reported to have over discharge protection circuitry, it should be safe to use the Craftsman V20 battery packs on the Milwaukee power tools.

Also, you'll need to make the Milwaukee M18 power tool "recognize" the battery with two resistors in the adapter. Be sure to check out the "Milwaukee M18 Power Tools Battery Interface" article link at the top of this page.

Ryobi ONE+ 18V Battery Pack

The adapter above is a do-it-yourself adapter, so you will need to provide the circuitry to make it work. Luckily, you don't have to provide the over-discharge protection circuitry, because it has been reported (here and here) that the Ryobi ONE+ batteries do have built-in over discharge protection. Therefore, it should be safe to use Ryobi ONE+ batteries with an adapter on Milwaukee M18 power tools. But you might consider disassembly your Ryobi ONE+ battery to ensure that there is an over discharge protection circuit.

Also, you'll need to make the Milwaukee M18 power tool "recognize" the battery with two resistors in the adapter. Be sure to check out the "Milwaukee M18 Power Tools Battery Interface" article link at the top of this page.
