The adapter above is a do-it-yourself adapter, so you will need to provide the circuitry to make it work. There doesn't seem to be any source on whether Craftsman V20 batteries have built-in over discharge protection. So you should be careful to avoid draining the V20 Lithium Ion battery pack when using it with the Ridgid power tool.

Makita 18V Battery Pack

It has been reported that the Makita batteries do have built-in over discharge protection. Therefore, it should be safe to use Makita batteries with an adapter on Milwaukee M18 power tools. But you might consider disassembly your Makita battery to ensure that there is an over discharge protection circuit.

Milwaukee M18 RedLithium 18V Battery Pack

There is report that Milwaukee M18 RedLithium batteries does not have built-in over discharge protection. So you should be careful to avoid draining the M18 Lithium Ion battery pack when using it with the Ridgid power tool.

Note that for the do-it-yourself adapter above, you will need to provide the circuitry to make the adapter work. If you have the electrical skill do make it work, it might be advisable to put in an over discharge circuitry as well.

It has been reported (here and here) that the Ryobi ONE+ batteries do have built-in over discharge protection. Therefore, it should be safe to use Ryobi ONE+ batteries with an adapter on Ridgid 18V power tools. But you might consider disassembly your Ryobi ONE+ battery to ensure that there is an over discharge protection circuit.
