Torque Master spring installation..door stops after 16 inches of travelI recently replaced both torque master springs on my wayne dalton double door (16x7)....one spring had broken preventing the door from opening with the opener. Replacing the springs was fairly easy and so was reinstalling the torsion bar and rewinding the spring tension. After replacing the springs, the door worked with the garage door opener for a day and now opens to about 16" then stops..it closes fine. I wound the tension springs to the specified 16 turns, but obviously the door is either too heavy to lift or out of alignment. Since the door has worked fine for years I don't think it's an alignment issue, but a spring tension/weight issue. When I disengage the opener from the door I can open the door and close it manually, but it does appear to be a bit "heavy" when lifting it. When I reinstalled the springs I removed all the slack from the cable so I'm fairly certain I was at "0" when I started to wind the springs. Do I wind the spring tension even more and try 17 or 18? Any suggestions?? Greg
