Idrive

I need a little help! I have an Idrive system and love it but hte other day the door started to make a grinding sound and the door would not go up? I checked the springs and cables on the door and nothing was wrong. I beleive the problem is in the torgue gears? has anyone had this issue in the past or present? Before I start taking it apart I wanted to get some opinions.
