Netgear Arlo Review: Cloud Storage Service

This may be a stupid question, but do I understand correctly that if this camera does catch video of a thief, that it will alert me via email with a video clip of them and I can then email that video to a law enforcement agency within 7 days? Assuming that to be the case, what determines the length of the video? (Is it a couple seconds or something I can control)

You can configure it to alert you via e-mail. But it will not e-mail you the video. It will just e-mail you a snapshot photo of the video. You will have to download the video through the web interface.

You can configure the length of the video. The cameras can be configured to record between 10 seconds to 2 minutes of video.
