Water Collection SystemSOLD OUT - Recycled Rain Barrel Rainwater Collection System you guys know how to build one like this or better? There's quite a bit of run-off when vegetables are washed and stufflike that. Paul paul... build what? it's just a plastic barrel. you can build the same thing with the "animal-proof" trash cans they sell at any hardware store like home depot. just buy it and put some hole in for hoses, done. charlie it doesn't rain enough in LA to make this worthwhile. David :( I know...but we all wash vegtables and stuff right? that run off can be used to water the lawn and stuff. i'm sure if I've thought of it, there's already something out there like that. Paul I agree. That's what I was thinking as well . . . that we don't get enough rain out here. Sure, you can reuse that water. My mother-in-law does it all the time. She puts the water in a bucket every day and waters the plants at the end of the day. When she was here, our plants grew pretty well. Chieh Cheng when we have unfinished beer, we poor it in the plants. we hear plants like beer. charlie hmmm . . . does it work better or worse than the Gatorade in the movie Idiocracy?
