Tiling Tip #5 - Grout the Edge First

After grouting the tiles that I have set in the laundry room, I found that I should have tiled the edge first. Once I have tiled the center area, it's very difficult to tile the edge without stepping on the seams. You'll have to wait till the grout completely drys, which takes up to three days, before you can go back to tile the edge. On the other hand, you can tile the edge first and then tile the center portion of the room without disturbing the edge.

This lesson learned is going to set me back three days, unless I decide to short-cut it and caulk the edge instead. Hmmmm . . .
