Mask Defeats Video Surveillance

In our why video surveillance is necessary discussion, we concluded that a masked burglar can prevent identification by wearing a mask. That's true, but it doesn't totally defeat the purpose of video surveillance. Capturing a burglar in the act provide various evidence: 1) you are actually being robbed; 2) the number of burglar(s); 3) the profile of the burglar; 4) the clothes that the burglar(s) are wearing; 5) how the burglars entered and exited. Each of these are important evidence to have.

A burglar that wears a mask is definitely harder to combat than a burglar that wear a baseball cap. Can you think of ways to combat burglars that wear masks?
