Kenmore Elite ULTRA WASH Dishwasher 665 Stuck on "Rinsing"I have a Kenmore Elite Dishwasher (either 665.1392 or 665.1394) that got stuck yesterday. It got stuck in the middle of a wash. The LCD has "Rinsing" and four bars blinking. The lock indicator is on. Smart Wash, Turbo Zone, Heated Dry, and 4 Hour Delay, Control Lock, and Cancel buttons are lit (see photo below). None of the buttons are responsive. I can't hold Control Lock to unlock it. When I close the door, the dishwasher starts beeping. beeping stops once the door is open, but no change to the front panel. I've unplugged it for a night, but it's back in the same situation after plugging it in the next day. Anyone have a clue to what's going on? Mel Figured it out. A chopstick had fallen to the bottom of the dishwasher. The dishwasher is in a pause mode. After removing the chopstick, close the door, unlock (while it beeps), then press start. The dishwasher finishes where it left off. If the door is open in this mode, then the dishwasher doesn't respond to any button commands. Very unintuitive. Funny thing . . . none of this symptom or action is in the user manual. Mel So unplugging the dishwasher is a integral part of the reset procedure. When you get into a situation when none of the buttons will respond, you will have to unplug it and then plug it back in. Then you can press "Start" to resume the operation. Mel
