Halloween FX #1: Masked Porch Light

A few years ago, I bought two blank male masks from Spirits Halloween on clearance. But I never figured out what I Was going to do with them. Finally, this year, I thought of an excellent way to use them for Halloween.

I have placed them over my front porch lights. It creates an interesting atmosphere for my trick or treat visitors. I wish I have six of these masks so that I can use three for each porch light. But I only have two, so that is one for each light. I also use the energy-efficient fluorescent lightbulb. They generate much less heat, therefore it is less likely to melt or burn the masks. After watching them carefully for one night, I am confident they will work well on Halloween.

If you try this trick yourself, make sure to use the fluorescent lightbulb. And never leave the lights on unattended.
