Task Scheduler: The operator or administrator has refused the request. (0x800710E0)I have a few tasks in Windows Task Manager that won't run. The "Last Run Time" result says, "The operator or administrator has refused the request. (0x800710E0)". Why? How can I find out why Windows refuse to run these tasks? Need Help I had the same issue. I tried several things, but the only thing that worked for me was to enable "Run with highest privileges" in the Properties of the task. Joe Well, "Run with highest privileges" worked for a few days. But today, it stopped working with the same "The operator or administrator has refused the request. (0x800710E0)" error. So I'm at a loss to what is causing it. Joe
