One Tablet Per Child for $100 EachOLPC (One Laptop Per Child) has tried to produce a laptop for $100 for the past few years, but never made the mark. Now it is announcing that it will produce a children's tablet for $100 ("One Laptop Per Child's next move: the $100 tablet"). Not a bad buzz creator considering that Apple's iPad costs in the neighborhood of $500. But as I recently found out that there are Tons of Google Android 7" Tablet on eBay and Amazon for about $100. If you can get these things from China for $100, you can guarantee the cost to make these is already far below the mark. So then, will Negroponte's One Tablet Per Child announcement really make much of a splash? Chieh Cheng
