Windows System Shortcuts and Remote Desktop

Windows Remote Desktop is really awesome. I've been using it a lot lately. For example, I'm on my 266 MHz notebook computer right now, accessing the Internet on a 500 MHz remote machine right now. But what bothered me lately is that the operating system shortcuts (like Alt-Tab) don't work on the remote sytem. That is until I created a remote desktop to my 500 MHz machine. In this set-up system shortcuts works just fine remotely.

The only difference? The working set-up is running Remote Desktop full-screen, while the non-working set-up is running Remote Desktop in a window. I guess that makes sense. If you are using Remote Desktop full screen, you want the window-switching shortcut to work on the remote machine. And if you are using Remote Desktop in a window, you'd want the window-switching shortcut to work on your current machine.
