Installing Windows Vista on HP Pavilion Entertainment Notebook PC dv1227us

I just installed Microsoft Windows Vista on my HP dv1227us laptop. Throughout the process, I wondered whether Vista will be able to find the driver for all of the hardware in this notebook. Surprisingly, it automatically installed most of the drivers except for the memory card reader and the modem (see screen shot below).

Luckily provides drivers for this notebook at its support section: Software & Driver downloads. Although the web site doesn't have Windows Vista driver for the memory card read and the mode, it does have the Windows XP drivers. And good thing that these Windows XP drivers works on Windows Vista just fine.
