Get Rid of the Nagging Automatic Update Restarting DialogMany times, after applying Windows Updates, Windows pops up a dialog (see screen shot below) to remind you to start your computer. The problem is that the dialog is always on top. And comes back every 10 minutes. Did Windows think you want to be asked again in ten minutes after you clicked "Restart Later" button? I don't know what the Microsoft engineers are thinking. But when I click "Restart Later", I have did it for a reason. Probably because I am in the middle of an uninterruptible task. If that's the case, I certainly don't want to be bugged ten minutes later! In this thread, I will present a few registry files that you can apply to change the bad behavior of your Windows XP computer when it comes to the Windows Update nagging messages. Chieh Cheng
