I use another program and the blue tooth connection work fine. When I try to use alOBD it does not seem to connect. Has anyone else had this same problema and how did you fix it?

Harris,
I have not received any reports on anyone else having problems with Bluetooth connections this particular phone. I do know that some phone manufacturers re-write their Bluetooth stacks which makes them different from generic Google's phones and the developers have to take specific steps to figure out how to make it work. I do not have the phone and there would be now way for me to make it work.

Sometimes, however, other apps would leave Bluetooth connection in a state where another program would not be able to connect. What I would suggested you to try is to go into Apps settings and "Force Stop" the other app. Then, using settings turn off and back on the Bluetooth and re-pair your adapter. After that in the alOBD app attempt to connect. When connected, send ELM Reset and ELM Auto to re-initialize the ELM protocols.
If not successful, then I am afraid, the app is not compatible with your phone, for which I apologize.

Thank you.
