ELM 327 USB scaner

Is it posible to modify you programs to work with usb version of elm 327 obd scaner? I want to use my usb obd scaner with acer iconia a500, wich have a usb host and compliant module in the core (ftdi_sio.ko).

Dear Dmitriy,
Without knowing the specifics of how the Iconia A500 "sees" the usb scanner device (which identifies itself as SPP-Class device to the host), I won't be able to update the app to read from it. If I get time, I will try it on my tablet. I will reply here if/when any new information becomes available.
