Notes on Lithium Ion Battery Packs

Most, if not all, 18-volt and 20 volt lithium ion systems uses five 3.6-volt lithium ion battery cells to create the battery pack. Five 3.6 volt batteries provides 18 nominal volts. The battery pack provides 20 volts when fully charged.
