Verizon XV6700 Send E-Mail Work-Around

If you have one of the big pocket PC phones, this message might help you send E-mail from your phone.

I don't know if you have experienced the same problem, but I get the following message from my phone when trying to send an E-mail:

Window Caption: "Unable to Send Message"

Window Text: "The Text Messages account can not be used to send E-mail"

I have found I can work around this problem by:

Click on the X to close the error message window.

Click on the 'ok' to close the outgoing E-mail.

In the top left, there is a 'folders' box. Click it and select the 'Drafts' folder.

You can select the message you just saved and click 'Move' on the Menu in the bottom right.

Move the message to the outbox.

The message will be sent shortly.
