Removing the Google Search Box on Android 4.0 Home Screen

Playing with the Google Galaxy Nexus since last night. I like the new interface over all. But the Google Search Box on top of every home screen bothers me. Doesn't seem like you can long tap it and move it into the trash.

Surprised that Google won't let you customize it. Just cause they fixed it there in position doesn't mean I'm going to use it. In fact, the reason I want to remove it is because I'm not going to use it.
