No Android Home Functionaltiy with VaniljEclair RLS10b on HTC TouchAfter finding that CyanogenMod 6 Kaiser [RLS5.2] runs a little too slow on the HTC Touch, I decided to give VaniljEclair RLS10b - A fast & stable CM 5.0.8 for Vogue/Kaiser/Polaris [2010-08-09] a try. VaniljEclair is Android 2.1, unlike CyanogenMOd 6 Kaisor, which is Android 2.2. VaniljEclair's moto is simple and fast. I like simple and fast. After trying it, I found that it is pretty fast. But for some reason, there is no "home" button functionality. Holding the "home" button--the camera button on the HTC Touch--it brings up a dialog to run various applications. I can't use it to get to "home". Without the "home" functionality, this Android distribution is practically useless. I'm back to PolyMod 2.1g for now. If anyone would share how to reconfigure the button to work as "home", I would try this VaniljEclair distribution again. Chieh Cheng
