Disabling Web Guard on T-Mobile SmartPhone PlansWhen you sign up for a T-Mobile Android SmartPhone plan, T-Mobile defaults to filtering your content as "Young Adult", meaning you do not have access to all web contents. Some Android app won't even work, because it can't retrieve the content filtered by this "service". For those of us who wants absolute control over our phones, this "Web Guard" is more of a restriction than a service. You can turn it off, but it's not easily found. This post outlines the step so you can do it quickly. 1. Log in to your T-Mobile account at my.t-mobile.com.
