Circumvent Android Slide LockPersonally, I wish it is possible to disable the slide lock on Google Android. It might be nifty at first, but it gets old rapidly after the screen times out on you repeatedly while you are using it. The horizontal slide is tedious enough. When I got the Samsung Intercept SPH-M910 on Virgin Mobile, it changed the slide lock to verticle. That made it even more tedious because vertical travel is even longer. However, after using it for a day, I found that if you slide out the keyboard, the phone bypasses the slide lock altogether. It is a great time saver, especially if you rather use the phone horizontally. Chieh Cheng
