Android Browser Web Form Content Limit Work-AroundA while back, I wrote about blogging with the Android phone. A physical keyboard is nice, but even the touch keyboard can be useful. Since than, I have not only used my Android phone to blog, but I have started using it for many tasks. One thing I noticed that the Android Browser lacking is that the text area widget on web forms can only handle so much text before the scrolling function stops working. That kind of limits the usefullness of using an Android phone or tablet for blogging and content generation. But luckily there is a work-around so that you can be mobile and still generate long contents. The work-around is to generate the content in an editor app or a note-taking app and then paste it into the text area on the web form. I use Scratch Paper (available on the Android Market for this purpose). If you have already generated some content in the web form, just copy it out (long press in the text area) and paste it into the note-taking app. When you have edited your article until your heart is content, copy the whole article out of the note app and paste it into the web form.
