Activating Motorola Triumph Before Release Date

My triumph won't activate :( I might have to wait til the 19th.

You might not be able to activate it until the 20th (the actual release date for the Triumph). The only way people are able to activate it now is by calling in and them doing the work-around at their end.

triumph release date is 7/19. new rates starting 7/20.

My MEID on the phone (17-digit) is different from the one on the bottom of the box (18-digit).

See if yours is like that.

The one on the phone is at Menu->Settings->About Phone->Status->MEID.

My box also has an extra digit in the middle of the string. It has an extra '0' in the dec number. However, the hex number matches.

Looks like Virgin Mobile phone activation wants the "11 OR 18-DIGIT SERIAL NUMBER (ESN OR MEID)".
