Does Elegoo Ender 3 Nozzle Have a White PTFE Tube Liner?I got a Elegoo Ender 3 3D printer recently. It printed PLA perfectly pretty much straight out of the box. I had to put it together, of course. But I've been looking into printing PETG recently and the nozzle temperature has to be a lot hotter. While reading "Guide: How to Print with PETG", I noticed that it mentioned a white PTFE tube liner that comes in many nozzles. Supposedly, this liner will melt at higher temperature. And we are talking about PETG temperature. I don't know what exactly does this liner do. Apparently there are replacement nozzles that does away with the liner. But the main question is whether the Elegoo Ender 3 comes with one of these plastic liner nozzle? Mel Elegoo responded to your message on Twitter: "Hi Gab, PETG material print temperature is 230-250, bottom plate temperature is 80-120, our Ender 3 can print directly, no need to replace the nozzle. Hope this would help." Gab Thanks to @LetsPrint_3D for the following tweet: "@Cynosure_X_Gab I was just notified of your tweet to @Elegoo_Official about PETG printing temps and PTFE lined hotends. Despite what they said, if the heatbreak does in fact have PTFE liner, do NOT exceed 245°C without an all metal hotend (most PETG does print fine around 240C)" Gab
