Apple's Safari 4 BrowserApple's latest web browser offering certainly has added a lot of new user-friendly features that will surely please the avid Mac user and make browsing easier for novice users even if they aren't familiar with Safari's previous versions. The browser's inner workings make for a fast, and perhaps more importantly standards-compliant browsing experience with HTML 5 and CSS 3 baked in, and that means that the latest and greatest web apps will work just as intended when rendered in Safari's tabs. There are even built in options for searching many popular sites like Flickr, craigslist, eBay and Amazon. There have also been some useful additions to Safari's RSS reading functionality. You can view news in its own tab as well as read several feeds in line. They've also improved on the idea of Speed Dial which is borrowed from Opera with the ability to scroll through several sites with Cover Flow just like you can browse through Albums in iTunes. syrell I agree on the speed, especially on a modern mac. i really think this can increase even more when snow leopard comes out. I have heard that people don't like the tab being on the top in S4 versus previous versions. So I think Apple might allow users to opt out of it in the final release. Might since they usually do things for specific reasons. And if they have reasons for this implementation, expect the current look to stay. I have also heard people complain about plug-ins. Any idea what they mean? sarcast
