Improve Mouse Performance for rdesktop to Windows Vista Remote Desktop

I just installed Windows Vista on my computer this weekend. When I remote desktop into it using rdeskop, the mouse cursor is extremely sluggish and slow. After reading a bit on the Intenet, I found that it is because of the mouse pointer scheme. The default, "Windows Aero (System Scheme)", is the culprit. Change the pointer scheme to "None" and it will be night-and-day with the mouse performance. You can change the scheme by using the following steps to get to Mouse Pointers dialog box:

Start Menu -> Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Mouse -> Pointers
