Fans Power Consumption

On hot days, fans can greatly augment any air conditioning system to help you reduce electricity cost. But energy used can vary greatly from one fan to another. You can take a look at these measurements to get an idea how much electricity each fan uses. These measurements will help you determine how much it costs run your fans.

The measurements are taken using an electricity usage measurement device, such as a "Kill A Watt" (see "Related Links" below). If you measure the electricity usage of your fans, please update this page and add it to the list below.
