Nerf Fortnite AR-L SCAR Magazine Mod

Gotten a Nerf Fortnite AR-L SCAR with its outrageous features. The curved magazines is also quite exaggerated. It looks great on other Nerf guns too. But when I tried to insert it into my Nerf Modulus Recon MKII, it wouldn't go all the way in (shown in the photo below).

Upon closer examination, I could see that the magazine corners got in the way (see the photo below). I could modify the Recon MKII to make the magazine fit, but that just means there may be other Nerf guns that this magazine wouldn't fit. Or I can modify the magazine, so that it can fit in more, if not all, other Nerf guns.

I decided to shave the corners of the magazine so that it can fit in all Nerf guns. The photo below showed where I shaved the plastics. It was fairly easy with a X-acto knife.

After shaving the corners, the magazine inserts into the Recon MKII just fine (shown in the photo below).

The outrageous magazine looks great on the Recon MKII. Making it look almost like a Warhammer 40K Bolter.

I believe this was actually a first-wave issue with the Recon II itself, and not so much the fault of any particular mag that wouldn't fit in it.
