5 Points Torx Tamper Proof for Microwave

Amazing what you can find online. My BF has a microwave that makes a vibrating noise when it's running. He knows what he needs to do to fix it. But he cannot get the panel off to get TO the vibration b/c of the strange screws. After a bit of online research, I now know that they require the use of a 5 pointed security torx bit.

I can order a set of bits online. What I don't know is how he will use them once I buy them. Do they fit into a drill? Onto the end of a screwdriver? Do they have their own fastening tool? If so, what is it called?

He has been bitching about the noise this microwave makes for the entire time we have been dating, as well as the fact that he cannot find the proper tool to take the panel off in order to fix it. His birthday is coming up and I know that he will be THRILLED with these, so any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Heather ([email protected])
