Tiling Tip #6 - Clean Your ToolsI have never tiled anything in my life until recently. So I wasn't aware that I had to clean my tiling tools right after every session of spreading the mortar and after grout. Now, the mortar and grout has hardened to a point where it's impossible to scrape off. The mortar and grout are quite different than the soft wall putty. I'm using to scraping the soft putty off my tools. But the mortar and grout hardens to stone and it's virtually impossible to remove. Luckily they can be easily thinned out with water before they cure (dry). Right after you apply the mortar or grout, rinse the tool with water, and clean off all the mortar and grout. Chieh Cheng
