Tile Sealer Used as Model Paint Clearcoat?Recently, I had re-tiled the laundry room and the kitchen counter. So I bought a quart of DuPont Stone & Tile Sealer for about $10 at the local Lowes. Upon opening it I got a whiff of the pungent smell of the sealer. It was a very familiar smell from my childhood. And it's not because my dad did any tiling when I was little. It's because it smelled just like the clearcoat that came with the Citadel paint set for my Warhammer 40,000 miniatures. In fact, it looked the same too. Now I'm thinking that maybe the clearcoat has been the tile sealer all along. Can wait to get some of my unpainted Tau and Imperial Guard units out and try the tile sealer on them. Chieh Cheng
