Replaced blown fuse

Hi I have an idrive. After reading a previous page on here I have replaced both fuses, unit beeped once but on engaging the drive the unit stopped again and after testing the fuses no have once again popped expensive $20 plus delivery to uk. I don't want that again, I see there is a slow blow hack on here 6 amp has this been successful with others, I am tempted to link out both fuses just to make sure all is working prior to fitting another. All help great fully received.
