Tiling Tip #1 - Moving a Pile of Tiles

Two weeks ago, my wife pulled out the washer's water evacuation hose from the wall. It flooded our laundry room. I used the excuse to re-floor the aged vinyl tiles. Of course, my wife chose ceramic tiles over the vinyl. So for the past few weeks, I've been tiling the floor floor with the elegant, but extremely very heavy tiles.

I found moving just 15 of them at a time to be very labor intensive. After a few days, I decided to bust out my "Connect 'N Go" wheel rolling system (see photo below). It's basically a platform on four rollers. I had a set of two sitting in the garage, never used. It was an excellent idea. Pushing 15 tiles on the rolling platform was much easier than carrying 15 tiles around.
