seasonal temperature affects idrive for torque master

I have an idrive for torque master and it has been working great for many years but during the last two winters when the temperature gets into the teens and below the opener starts acting strange. I push the button on the opener and the door may go up 2 feet then stop or 3/4 of the way up and stop. To get it to go up I need to double hit the button to start downward motion then reverses to go up. Once the temperature gets back into the 30s or above it works perfectly. Any ideas.

Been dealing with this seasonal issue for years! Wish I knew why. I can only suspect the electronics are not engineered for outdoor use, as it seems like once you get some electricity running through the circuitry, it starts to behave as designed, then returns to bad behavior after cooling back down.
