idrive is problematic on cold daysI have an iDrive door for three garages at my home. One of these is becoming a problem in that when it is cold, and it is cold today, it only opens part of the way, then i close it and it opens a bit more the next time. It takes about 4-5 tries before opening enough to remove my car. I have tried gallons of lubricant (well maybe just pints) and it will not fix the problem. I also ioled the hinges at all the segment intersections. This morning I had to resort to pullin the t bar to get out because of the cold nearly 10 degrees f. It has been that way for two years. In the summer, beginning mid march, it never ever stops and works like a charm. Any ideas? It is perplexing. Thank you. Larry Larry Lawson did you figure this out? I know someone who is having the same issue. john watkins Same issue with me too. Just the cold days. Could it be the spring is contracting in the cold and changing the way it delivers the counterballance force, or is it just crappy electronics that are not engineered for outdoor use? Lee Adams
