idrive Cannot Open Garage DoorClosed the door and it sounded like it got stuck on something and then SLAM the door made a huge noise. Sounded to me like something got stuck so I moved every obstacle out of the way but now the door will very slowly open only in doggie mode and then very very slowly close back down. Checked for bent tracks, all rollers are fine, what could have happened? Already had the unit replaced on warranty all has been fine for 2 years or so until now. Any suggestions? Seems like something is off balance. Not sure of the slow open and shut. Also noticed (maybe because now I am looking at it) there is a yellow wire in mid air coming out of the iDrive box above the door. Not sure. Thanks for any help. Not sure of the fuse part and if this would help as I am getting some response but now full throttle. Winters Sounds like the spring broke and the door came slamming down. If the spring is still intact, then the things that fastens the spring to the bar is loose. The door is too heave and the idrive can't open it. You can test this theory by releasing the door from the idrive. If you can still open the door then what I described is not true. But if you can't open the door, then the door is completely off-balance. You'll have to fix the balance of the door. The yellow wire that comes out of the idrive is the antenna. Leave it alone.
