garage door with idrive got stuckwell I put on a dalton I drive opener several years ago. Overall I really liked not having all the hardware hanging in the way. ALTHOUGH AS YOUR RECORDS SHOULD SHOW i HAVE CALLED Quite a few times with problems and believe I have replaced the opener or motor twice. Anyway here I am in central Ill. in a snow storm with 35mph winds. I have to go out to rescue my daughter, I open the garage door, and thats it. It locks up! I pull the release cable to put it down by hand and needless to say, it will not release! I go get my daughter, half an hour, get back, every thing in my garage, tools tool boxes, benches, everything covered in snow. NOT HAPPY. Now I have to get a ladder out, push door up on my shoulder and wrestle the release cable off, both sides mind you, ale door slam down, almost knocking ladder out from under me. So what the heck now? robert melvin
