door does not moveI have a torsion Idrive and it has work great for about 4 years. Came one evening and the door would not open with the remote. The unit would beep twice, churp like a bird then nothing. I followed the troubleshooting guide in the manual, beep, beep, churp....still not working. Read the article about the fuse in the "Gear Hack" fourm. Checked the unit, had a blown fuse. Replaced the fuse with a slow blow fuse, tried the door, beep, beep, churp....nothing. Called Wayne Dalton (very nice people) and explain my problem. They sent me a new, updated circuit board. Replaced the circuit board with ease. Push the button, beep, beep, churp....nothing. Ma, git my shotgun, we're gonna git a new hole in the garage door wall. Before I blast it to mulch, maybe I'll check the motor. Anybody have an oopinion? Jim Q Is the springs still ok? We came home one night and the garage door won't move. Turn out to be old springs: one broke. Opener works fine after replacing the springs. Good luck. Chieh Cheng
