Metal Popped Out of idrive

my wyane dalton i drive won't do anything, no beeping, no light or sound. i have power to the unit but nothing happens. i took the cover off and in front there is a black set of clips, pulled on one and a piece of metal came out. is there any special way it goes back and is it necessary to reinstall. thanks, dave
