KERUI Home Security System Review: Alarm Panel

to enable passcode at keyboard: go to system settings / password . scroll to keyboard lock. press 0 or 1 to disable / enable the keyboard lock then OK. nothing on keypad will do anything until you enter the code.

Intelligent will require the device to trigger twice within 30 before alarming. It's mostly for motion sensors and owning pets large enough to trigger the motion sensor. I have two cats and the motion sensor never triggers for them. I'm assuming dogs would trigger. In that case, set the motion sensor to intelligent.

Insert a sim-card without pincode. If needed use a gsm-phone to change that. It will not work with a pincode!

Does this alarm come with a UK charging plug?

The system I purchased in the US does not come with a UK power plug.

A question to all of you, who have used the system for some time.
What is your impression regarding the stability (false alarms ?) and quality of the alarm system ?

I have never gotten a false alarm for no good reason. One time, the motion sensor kept tripping the alarm. When I got home I found that my kid's mylar balloon has floated in front of the sensor, causing it to trigger as it floated around the living room. Otherwise, haven't had false trips.

I have yet to see any mention of a time delay. If you only use the keypad or the RFID, once you open your home front door, you may trip a door sensor and/or a motion sensor. Do you have a time delay before the alarm sounds in order to put in your de-activate code?

What about for leaving, does it have a time delay before leaving?

The instruction manual says you can set a time delay from 0 to 99 seconds. I haven't tried it. I use the FOB remote, so never needed the time delay.

I have this alarm with 10 sensors attached. Each sensor = 1 zone. I would like to use "stay arm" function. All sensor zones are set to type "Normal". One zone 02 (sensor 2) is set to type "stay armed" for testing perpouses. Despite the fact I arm alarm in 'stay armed' mode all sensors are armed: for example motion sensor no 4 is tiggering the alarm.
Do you know what is wrong set?

Everything is working right now. 'Stay armed' means 'sensor is not working when stay arm mode is turned on'. So I have to set sensor number 2 to normal type and others to 'stay armed'..not the other way arround.

Regarding the intelligent mode i try it on windows/door switch, the sensor must be triggered 2 times to activate the alarm ( it works on armed and stay armed mode).

If any one enter the house and cut the power or remove sim card or smash the panel this will deactivate the system or not?

I think if you cut the power to it, then it will not be able to do anything. But to remove the SIM requires removing the back panel. When the back panel is removed while the system is armed, the alarm will go off. But if you just push the deactivate button before removing the back panel, then the alarm will not go off.

My Kerui has built in battery and is charged with USB. if there was a power cut there would be plenty of time to send sms message to your phone after the break in.

Hi, I know this thread is rather old but I just bought a w18 alarm system and I am trying to figure out how to disarm it on the panel with a passcode. As you wrote you also hadn't had a clue, I am hoping since then you might have figured it out. Thanks.

I have configured my system with a GSM LTE simm card. The systems works as it should and can be armed or disarmed by text. The instructions are a bit lacking but work if followed.

Now that I have my system set up with a GSM sim card, does anyone know if the system capable of blocking select inbound text numbers? According to my phone carrier's records, my system is being texted by unauthorized "spam" texts.
