Hyper Tough 20V MAX Power Tools Battery InterfaceSo what colors are connected to the charger and battery? My charger was smashed and im trying to manually connect to battery Jakk Azz Confirmed that the 'T' terminal on the tool just expects a ~10K Ohm resistor to ground to enable one of the newer 20V Max tools (e.g. the 3" cutoff tool) to start. If the printed adapters don't include this and just connect the 18/20V power to the +/- pins, some tools won't work. The low-end charger also just puts +21V to the charge pin and ground. No comms at all. The cheap charger just monitors current flow, and if there is more than a few mA, the LED changes to red to indicate charging. Charging/balancing is controlled in the battery.
