Google Home Can't Play YouTube Video Through its Built-In Speaker?
Two thoughts to this response. One, I just want to play the audio portion of the YouTube video via the Google Home speaker. It's convenient and I don't have to turn on any other devices. Plus, the devices are not in the same room as Google Home. Two, I do have a Chromecast device--Nvidia Shield TV. I thought it's already linked to the Google Home app. Why Google Home says I don't have any devices attached is beyond me. But once again, I asked Google Home to do something, so I can hear it right there and then without having to go downstairs, turn on the TV and use the Nvidia Shield controller to pull up the video. Anyone know a way to get Google Home to play the audio portion of the YouTube video via its speaker? Jake Found the following settings in the Google Home app. I guess, in order to play YouTube videos through the built-in speaker, you have to pay for a YouTube Red subscription. I wonder if there is any other ways to play audios in YouTube videos. Jake
