creating a SSD drive

DIY USB "Hard Drive"

is there a way to do this? I'm try create a drive using a usb reader or hub from multiple flash drives or cards. so with four 16GB cards, I'll get one 64 GB instead of four separate 16Gb drives. any idea?

Make your own solid-state hard drive and save

something along the line of something like this but a poor man's ext solution. with 32GB ones coming out soon, we can create up to a 128GB drive.
