"Get Windows 10" dialog is blank and closes immediatelyMy Asus G46VW is running Windows 8.1. Yesterday, there is little Windows icon to the lower right of the task bar (see screen shot below). When the mouse print hovers over it, it says, "Get Windows 10". I was too busy, so I ignored it until today. But today, when I clicked on it, it creates a "Get Windows 10" dialog box (see screen shot below). The dialog box is blank and white. Then the dialog box immediately closes after opening. Anyone else have this issue? How do you get around it? Jake Found another way to reserve the Windows 10 upgrade. You can right click on the "Get Windows 10" icon on the task bar to get a menu. There will be a reserve Windows 10 upgrade menu item in the menu. Click on it, the "Get Windows 10" dialog will open and close immediately. But if you check your Windows Update, it will say "Windows 10 upgrade reserved" (see screen shot below). The pop-up menu will now change to "Check your upgrade status" rather than saying reserve your copy. Jake you need to have IE 11 installed to solve this problem Proesnie
