VirtualBox 5.0.40 "Failed to open a session for the virtual machine"I haven't used my VirtualBox for a while. Today, VirtualBox 5.0.40 not working for me no more. I'm suspecting it's the update to newer version of Windows 10; I'm on Version 1709 (OS Build 16299.192) now. Neither my Mountain Lion nor my Ubuntu 16.04 virtual machines work. They both report the following error on start: "Failed to open a session for the virtual machine Ubuntu 16.04 (3D). Not sure what's the best option at this time. Probably going to try upgrading to VirtualBox 5.2.6 and see what happens. Jake I upgraded to VirtualBox 5.2.6 and both Mountain Lion and Ubuntu booted without any problems. I had to stick to 5.0.40 before, because the newer version of VirtualBox at the time did not work with the Hackintosh installation (see "VirtualBox Hackintosh Won't Boot" in the TrackBack below). Good to report that Oracle fixed that problem in the latest release of VirtualBox. Jake
