GeForce 335.23 Driver - Installation cannot continue

I have NVIDIA GeForce Experience. It's nice, because it automatically sees the latest NVIDIA driver and notifies you.

When GeForce 335.23 driver became available, it immediately notified me about the new driver. Of course, I elected to download it. Once it had downloaded, I clicked on "Express Install". But a little while later, NVIDIA GeForce Experience reported "Installation cannot continue".

It kept giving me this message, no matter how many times I restarted the computer and restarted NVIDIA GeForce Experience. Anyone seen such a problem?

I have the exact same problem, and I'm quite annoyed cos of it.

I'd happy with a solution, otherwise I suggest let's wait for the next release, maybe that will fix this issue...

Yah. I guess that's all we can do. Just curious what's your computer set-up? Mine is an Asus G46VW laptop with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660M.

I was finally able to install the GeForce 335.23 Driver today. That was after I successfully upgraded to GeForce Experience 2 (see TrackBack below).

Title: GeForce Experience 2 - A dynamic link library (DLL) initialization routine failed.
Weblog: GearHack
Excerpt: When NVIDIA released the GeForce 335.23 driver, I had trouble installing it through GeForce Experience (see "GeForce 335.23 Driver - Installation cannot continue " thread). Now that NVIDIA has released version 2 of GeForce Experience, I once again have trouble with it on my Asus G46VW gaming laptop. . . .
