Change Windows Core Parking Performance Through Power OptionsThere are a number phenomenal number of discussion on the Internet about Windows core parking. A number of software has also been provided to accomplish the same thing through different means. But Windows already provide the facility to set core parking values; it's just hidden from the user. The attached Windows registry mod changes Windows registry to show the changeable settings in "Power Options". To apply, simply download and double-click it. The registry file content is in text format, so you can verify the content yourself using Notepad. Fido The following is a screen shot of what you'd see in "Power Options" after applying this registry change. The screen shot shows the default values. Although this is a screen shot of "My Custom Plan 1 [Active]", the values are the same for "Balanced", "High performance", and "Power saver". This screen shot is taken on MSi Wind U100 netbook running Windows 7 Ultimate. Fido
