MSi Wind U100

MSI Wind U100 is one of the light weight note book for mobile computing. It is an ideal machine for web browsing during the travel. Wind is an abbreviated form of "Wi-Fi Network Device". Built in web cam in it will provide you the complete facilities for chatting and video conferencing. It is available in different colors and the well designed keyboard makes computing a fine experience.

This small laptop is powered by the Intel�s Atom processor running at the speed of 1.6 GHz. As it is mainly designed for traveling and mobile devices, its hardware configurations saves power and provides battery life for 3 hours with the three cell battery.

It comes with 80GB hard drive and gives more space for storing pictures and videos. This ATA hard drive speeds up the data transfer. Newest Intel processor Atom N270 is used in Wind and this processor reduces power consumption and provides long lasting battery life. On the other hand Eee PC900 uses the older processor. It has a better and large amount of storage space compared to its competitors.

Things to Consider

It does not come with CD or DVD drive. The only alternative solution is to add CD or DVD drive externally using USB port. Memory in it will not be sufficient enough to run the newest operating system from Microsoft.
